IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING IMMIGRATION CHECK - IN REQUIREMENT
Dartmouth College, and in some cases, the U.S. government, requires all international employees or visitors to check-in with the immigration office at the school or institution serving as their visa sponsor.
You must do two things within two weeks of entering the U.S. to start your academic program as an international employee or visitor at Dartmouth College:
- You must complete an online check-in form **after** you enter the U.S. in valid student status. The required online check in form is found here: https://fs8.formsite.com/Rcatmur/EmployeeCkinForm/secure_index.html.
PLEASE DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM UNLESS YOU ARE ALREADY PHYSICALLY INSIDE THE UNITED STATES.
You may upload scanned copies of your documents (passport, I-94 card or admission stamp and Form I-94 electronic print-out, I-20 or DS-2019 form) to this check in form, but we will still need to see your original documents when you come to the Office for your check in session. You can access your Form I-94 electronic print-out by clicking here.
- You must contact the Office of Visa & Immigration Services (OVIS) at Dartmouth College to schedule your **in-person** check-in session.
For more information on the required Immigration Check-in process, please contact OVIS at Visa.and.Immigration.Services@dartmouth.edu.
