Signing off on a Proposal

At the end of the review, staff in the Office must sign the routing form and required agency forms. The Principal Investigator is then notified that the proposal is ready for submission to the sponsor. The OSP retains the original routing form.

If, in the course of the Sponsored Projects review, it is found that a proposal is missing required information or errors have been noticed, staff will return the proposal to the Principal Investigator with a sheet outlining changes that need to be made before the proposal is submitted. It is expected that those changes will be made before the proposal is submitted.

Within ten (10 ) working days, the Principal Investigator is responsible for sending a full copy of the proposal as submitted, excluding appendices, to the OSP.
