Dear Colleagues:
This is a reminder of the new Proposal Deadline Policy which takes effect on February 1. All proposals are due to the Office of Sponsored Projects seven (7) business days prior to the sponsor deadline. For example, for proposals due by the February 5 NIH deadline, proposal review materials need to be submitted to the OSP no later than 9:00 a.m. on January 27. Please note that the signed routing form triggers the review process.
For electronic proposals submitted by OSP, once the review is completed the OSP Proposal Coordinator will return comments to the principal investigator and department administrator, including the actual date that the complete package, with narrative, must be returned to OSP for submission by 9:00 a.m. two (2) business days prior to the deadline for submission to the sponsor. There is no further review at this time.
