NIH recently updated the electronic application submission schedule to push
back the standard R01 submission to February 1, 2007. Please read the
announcement published in the NIH Guide on Friday, February 10 at: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-06-035.html
In short, the electronic submission timeline was updated as follows:
- MARCH 22, 2006--Shared Instrumentation Grants (S6)
- JUNE 1, 2006 --Small Grant Programs (R03),
Exploratory/Development Research Grant Awards (R21/R33) & Clinical Trial
Planning Grant Program (R34)
- FEBRUARY 1, 2007 -- Research Project Grant Program
(R01)
