Since graduation, I have accepted an art internship at Dartmouth for a year and then another internship at a boarding school in Vermont. I am currently still working on and expanding the possibilities of my works with plaster and acrylic. I have been able to sell several paintings in the past two years, though having the Class of 1960 become my very first patrons was very meaningful to me.
My advice to graduating artists is to find a job that affords you time to pursue your art while making enough money to cover the cost of supplies.
