The purchase prize from the Class of 1960 served as an important reminder that my work as an artist held monetary value as well as aesthetic value. It was an honor to have been selected to participate in the program. I am pleased to say that my career path has always been directed toward jobs that have relied heavily upon the skills that I developed while at Dartmouth in my visual studies classes. I always appreciated the way the studio art professors treated their students with such sincere respect as fellow artists. With guidence from such a fine department and support from the Class of 1960, I graduated with complete confidence that my artistic endeavors in college were real and respected...and ready to apply to life outside of Dartmouth.
Currently I own and operate "Stone Soup Catering" with my husband in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
