After Dartmouth I went to graduate school in NYC at Pratt Institute where I received my Master of Fine Arts degree. While in NYC, I interned in Washinton, DC for the summers and later secured a job with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Graphics and Presentations Division. There I still pursue my photography, and I have created exhibits and publications of all of the Department of Defense. I was also selected to have many of my images used in the 9-11 Memorial Book as well as the "Here's New York" 9-11 traveling exhibit. Many of the photos will now be part of the Library of Congress, National Archive, and New York Historical Society Archive.
The purchase prize was a wonderful way for me to leave my past work for current Dartmouth students, and to assure them that there are practicing artists still working after Dartmouth.
Even if you don't stay the artistic course you began at Dartmouth, always find a way to keep it in your life and your soul. You will be much happier for it.
