Since graduation I have had many experiences which have now put me in a wonderful career that I love. I work in a 3-D animation production studio that is producing a 3-D animated amusement ride film for children. My job consists of making 3-D models using our software, lighting and shading (painting) them, and rendering them.
The purchase prize impacted me in that it made me feel like a "real" artist, even though I was only a student, and it gave me a greater sense of appreciation for my own work. My advice to graduating students is this: always follow your passion and be true to yourself.
