Using a Proxy

What is a Proxy?

If you are enrolled for the fall and are not able to attend Room Draw, perhaps due to a class/athletic conflict, or because you are off campus in the spring, you must select someone to choose a room for you when your number is called at Room Draw. The person who selects a room for you is called a “proxy.”

Designating a Proxy

If you choose to have a friend select a room for you, you must give them a written statement, with your ID number, granting them permission to choose a room on your behalf. If you would prefer that the Office of Residential Life act as your proxy, please complete and return a Housing Office Proxy Form by Thursday, April 24, 2008.
