Massachusetts Row and the Gold Coast

Massachusetts Row

Massachusetts Row Floor Plans

This cluster's prime attribute can be stated in one word: location. Mass Row is located near the Thayer Dining Hall, Collis Student Center, Hopkins Center, Baker/Berry Library, and downtown Hanover.

Massachusetts Hall, an upperclass community, houses residents in one-room doubles and two-room triples. Each room contains a private bath and shower. There are single, double and two-room triples in North and South Massachusetts Halls. All North and South Massachusetts rooms are carpeted.

  • Mid Massachusetts - 111 beds
  • North Massachusetts - 68 beds
  • South Massachusetts - 68 beds

The Gold Coast

The Gold Coast Floor Plans

Lord, Streeter, and Gile Halls were all named for prominent Dartmouth trustees from the period 1892 to 1925. Their location along the south side of Tuck Mall makes them readily accessible to Baker/Berry Library.

Lord and Streeter are co-ed by floor while Gile is co-ed by room. Residents are housed in two-room triples, two and three-room doubles, and singles. Some rooms in this cluster have half-baths. The Gold Coast is all upperclass for the 2007-08 academic year.

  • Lord - 78 beds
  • Streeter - 67 beds
  • Gile - 112 beds
