Project at a Glance
The Visual Arts Center is a new facility currently being planned to accommodate the academic departments of Studio Art and Film & Television Studies. Machado and Silvetti Associates were selected to be the architects for the new facility and are refining the Basis of Design. A revised program analysis identified a need for a 96,000 gross square foot (gsf) facility for these two academic programs. The building will contain teaching and production studios, classrooms, exhibition space, a screening room, an auditorium theater for film projection, and faculty and administrative offices.
