This project will provide both a new competition soccer field, complete with stadium, and a small locker and restroom facility. Details of the project include:

  • Level 10 quality natural turf competition soccer field, constructed to NCAA standards
  • Field lighting, public address system, scoreboard
  • Bleacher seating for 1,600 spectators, additional seating on grass berms surrounding the field
  • Pressbox
  • Dedicated lawn mower with storage/ maintenance building
  • Plaza within fenced field area for concessions and gathering
  • Support building with a plaza to serve both Burnham and Scully-Fahey fields, including men's and Women's Toilet Rooms and, if fundraising allows, additional locker rooms and sports medicine facilities. The building and plaza will be located in the area between Thompson Lot, Scully-Fahey Field, Burnham Field and the Blackman Practice fields.
  • The entire facility, including the pressbox, will be accessible to persons with disabilities.
