PROJECT SIGNAGE - Please pay close attention to all project-related signs
posted around the project perimeter and alerting everyone to site condition
changes and safety issues, including building access routes. These signs are
provided for everyone's benefit and safety. If anyone does NOT want to remain
on this mailing list please let me know.
GROUND VIBRATIONS - Some ground vibrations may occasionally be felt with
different construction activities but these are typically not of the type to
cause structural problems within buildings. Loose items within buildings may be
effected by these vibrations and possibly rattle and/or shake a bit.
CONSTRUCTION VEHICLE ACCESS - Please pay attention to contractor vehicles
within the construction site and crossing the cross-way exiting from Kemeny
Hall. These vehicles will be escorted by construction crew personnel - PLEASE
PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR DIRECTIONS. Please also pay attention to contractor
vehicles which continue to access and leave the construction site via the
Maynard St. entrance adjacent to Moore Hall.
DETOURS AROUND THE CONSTRUCTION SITE - For the duration of this project
(Sept. '07) the main walkway running between the Berry/Carson building and
Moore Hall will be closed to pedestrian foot traffic. Pedestrian detour routes
are via the sidewalks of either No. Main St. or College St. as shown on the
