Consistent with Tuck's long-term facilities plan, Buchanan Hall will be renovated to create a mix of faculty and administrative offices and residential facilities for Executive Education.
Over the next 5 years, Tuck plans to add up to 10 net new full-time faculty members. Buchanan Hall is the logical space to build the necessary offices for faculty and administrative staff. In addition, we plan to convert the current student lounge for use as a faculty seminar room.
Over the summer months, Executive Education uses our residential facilities for MBA students to house program participants. During the regular academic year, Executive Education currently relies on rooms at the Hanover Inn and other close by hotels to house participants. Availability of rooms often limits Tuck's ability to host custom programs in hanover. For these reasons, we plan to create 22 bedrooms with private bath on the 2nd and 3rd floors of Buchanan as well as convert two of the current study rooms to serve as study and lounge spaces for participants.
