Each year the Associate Dean of Student Life and six Advisors and Directors within the OPAL office, contribute financial resources that support the OPAL fund.
The goal for this fund is to support events that impact multiple communities and reflect the mission of our office. Due to a large number of requests throughout the year and recent budget reductions, OPAL is only able to contribute up to a maximum of $100.
The OPAL funding proposal form can be downloaded online and then sent via Hinman mail to the OPAL office (HB 6217). Hard copies are also available in the OPAL Office (Suite 314 Robinson Hall). Please use one form for each program.
All proposals are DUE at NOON on FRIDAYS throughout the term and should be submitted to Minnie Slater in 315 Robinson Hall at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Applications submitted less than 2 weeks prior to the event will not be considered.
If funding is granted, we request that you add "Office of Pluralism and Leadership (OPAL)" as one of your sponsors or funding sources, and that you submit a short report on the attendance and impact of the event.
