Course Objectives
This course is intended to be an introduction for students to the integrated model of treatment for people with a co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorder. This course will outline the principles of the model, and then identify the core skills necessary to effectively treat someone with a co-occurring disorder.  Students will have the opportunity to practice these skills, and receive feedback from the instructor, who is an expert in the field.
