Research/Interests:
Computational analysis and modeling of cooling dynamics in trapped atom systems.
Ultracold dilute atomic Fermi-Bose mixtures, working towards fermionic superfluidity.
Casimir effect and forces in the 1-10 mmeter range.
Quantum mechanics of macroscopic and mesoscopic resonators at low temperatures.
Mechanical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs), as seen in a scanning electron microscope (SEM).
