The new general ledger, eProcurement, Hyperion reporting, and Oracle Grants Accounting systems are now live.

To access the new systems

Go to the Financial Tools page.
(You must confirm your identity through Web Authentication before you can view that page. Enter your full DND name and password when prompted.) Follow the appropriate links from there to the eProcurement system, the Reporting tool, the Lookup tool, or download the templates for creating journal entries using Web ADI or SPUD.

To get help

Go to the OASIS Support page if you experience problems with the new systems or have questions. Support is organized by functional area so you can find answers to specific questions or reach someone who can help you. On the support page dedicated to each topic you can find such helpful information as a list of known problems, frequently asked questions, helpful tips, e-mail contacts and phone numbers.

Background

The financial environment at Dartmouth has changed dramatically over the years.  Growing transaction volumes as well as increasing complexity and diversity of financial operations at the College have highlighted the need for change.  The OASIS project addresses this change by transforming the way financial information is accessed and managed at Dartmouth.  By replacing dated technology with new hardware and software, the project seeks to gain efficiencies through streamlining processes. In addition, it provides greater access to integrated financial data which, in turn, strengthens decision making institution-wide.

OASIS introduces a new chart of accounts, a new general ledger, a new grants accounting system and new reporting tools.  These changes have far-reaching consequences affecting people in every department, from those who monitor spending and revenue to others who simply use an account number to charge an expense.

The goals of the OASIS project include:

  • Increasing the quality and availability of financial data.
  • Strengthening business processes and practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Developing a data warehouse to expand the analytic and reporting capacity of financial data.

When complete, the project will significantly enhance the way Dartmouth manages financial resources throughout the College and professional schools.  End users across the College play a critical role in the success of the project and it is important that everyone get involved.
