New in v1.0.1 (12/8/2016)

NIRFAST, now built on the 3DSlicer platform, enables:
  • Segment 3D medical images (DICOMS) to create numerical models for optical computation/image reconstruction.
  • Model multi-wavelength and luminescence (fluorescence and bioluminescence) light propagation through tissues of arbitrary shapes in CW, time domain or frequency domain.
  • Reconstruct optical images of chromophores, scatter parameters, or luminescent parameters from real or simulated data.
  • Visualize recovered images in 3D and/or overlaid on standard medical images.
