Dartmouth Winter Carnival cross country ski races moved to Stowe, VT

Poor snow conditions at the Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center in Hanover have forced the relocation of cross country races for this weekend's Dartmouth Winter Carnival. Cross country competition Friday and Saturday will be held at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT.

Alpine racing, including slalom and giant slalom races, will be held as scheduled at Dartmouth Skiway in Lyme Center, NH.

The race schedule for this weekend is as follows:

FRIDAY, FEB. 12 

  • At DARTMOUTH SKIWAY, Lyme Center, NH
    • 9:30 am: Men’s slalom – 1st run
    • 10:30 am: Women’s slalom – 1st run
    • 12:30 pm: Men’s slalom – 2nd run
    • 1:30 pm: Women’s slalom – 2nd run
  • At the TRAPP FAMILY LODGE, Stowe, VT
    • 10 am: Women’s 15 km classical, mass start
    • 11:30 am: Men’s 20 km classical, mass start

SATURDAY, FEB. 13 

  • At DARTMOUTH SKIWAY, Lyme Center, NH
    • 9 am: Women’s Giant Slalom – 1st run
    • 10 am: Men’s Giant Slalom – 1st run
    • 12:30 pm: Women’s Giant Slalom – 2nd run
    • 1:30 pm: Men’s Giant Slalom – 2nd run
  • At the TRAPP FAMILY LODGE, Stowe, VT
    • 9 am: Men’s 3x5 km freestyle relay
    • 10 am: Women’s 3x5 km freestyle relay

An awards ceremony will follow the conclusion of Saturday's giant slalom, at Dartmouth Skiway.
