For example, Owen Zidar '08 recently went to the Philippines to survey local participants of microcredit programs, and Tim Bolger '10 trekked through Alaska last summer on an ancient wood-finding mission. Both of these trips were supported by a Paul K. Richter and Evalyn E. Cook Richter Memorial Fund Research Grant.
