You have excelled at everything that you set out to do - and you set out to do a lot! From Honeywell to Greylock, in both your personal and professional life you demonstrated a commitment to leadership and service and an unbounded loyalty to your family, business, and alma mater.
You have served your College well, taking on assignments that have included being Class Agent, Tuck School Overseer, Trustee, and, currently, Chair of the President's Leadership Council. You also chaired the board of Boston's Museum of Fine Arts and served on the boards of many other not-for-profit organizations, earning you election to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Dartmouth is proud to count you - as well as each of your four sons - as one of our own, and I take great personal pleasure in presenting to you the degree Doctor of Laws.
