Graduate Appreciation Week

Dartmouth will celebrate the annual N.H. Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week April 21-25, with events that showcase the scholarship of graduate students in the Arts and Sciences. The division has 146 students studying for master's degrees and 375 students studying for doctorates. The Arts and Sciences Poster Session on Thursday, April 24, is the public event of the week. More than 30 graduate students and postdoctoral researchers will display their work in the Top of the Hop.

The event is cosponsored by the Graduate Studies Office and the Graduate Student Council. The poster session is one of several other events open to the graduate community for the week. Other events include:

  • Graduate Student Community Lunch
  • Master of Arts in Liberal Studies Creative Writing Presentations
  • A Night of Cheers (social gathering)
  • Lunch Panel with Dissertation Fellows
  • Graduate Student Potluck

Graduate Poster Session

Thursday, April 24
5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Top of the Hop

Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows will display posters describing their scholarly work and give short oral presentations to a panel of judges, who will award cash prizes of $75, $150 and $250 to the top three presenters.

Free and open to the public
