Celluloid Dreams on display at Student Film Festival

Posted 05/12/02

A year's worth of cinematic work by Dartmouth student filmmakers will be showcased Friday, May 31, at 8 p.m. on the silver screen in Spaulding Auditorium.

Featuring short 16mm narrative and experimental films, a selection of 16mm and digital animated shorts, experimental digital videos, and short form documentaries, the evening will highlight the diversity and creativity of students.

Many of last year's films received honors at the First Ivy League Film Festival (open to all colleges) at Brown this past winter. Dartmouth's tradition of high quality film production always guarantees an excellent show, event organizers say.

The event is free and open to the public.

Dartmouth has television (satellite uplink) and radio (ISDN) studios available for domestic and international live and taped interviews. For more information, call 603-646-3661 or see our Radio, Television capability webpage.
