Posted 06/05/02 Dartmouth President James Wright will discuss the importance of the College's relationship with Hanover and the other communities of the Upper Valley with area residents, and will outline Dartmouth's general facilities plans for the next several years, in a forum Monday, June 10, 7-8:30 p.m in The Moore Theater at the Hopkins Center. The meeting, which will be free and open to the public, will include a presentation by Wright and time afterward for questions from the audience. Seating in The Moore Theater, which seats 480, will be on a first-come, first-seated basis. There will be an overflow location with a closed-circuit television broadcast of the meeting in 105 Dartmouth Hall. "We realize that there is considerable interest among our neighbors in Dartmouth's goals and plans as well as its general relationship with the community, and we want to provide information as well as hear from our neighbors about the same topics," said Wright. "I look forward to this opportunity to talk about how Dartmouth and the Upper Valley can grow together and also retain the character that makes each special." |
