Dartmouth graduate S.T. Shimi '94 combines text, Middle Eastern Dance and performance art to address social and cultural issues in a one-woman performance on Sunday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. in Filene Auditorium. Shimi, a writer, dancer and performer working in several dance and performance companies in San Antonio, Texas, will also lead a performance workshop on Monday, Nov. 12 at Panarchy. While at Dartmouth Shimi was a member of Casque and Gauntlet and a Senior Fellow. Her final project was a solo performance piece based on an incident of political repression in her native Singapore.
