Posted 05/18/01 In the May 3, 2001, issue of the highly regarded weekly journal Nature, the Dartmouth Undergraduate Journal of Science (DUJS) was highlighted in a story about student science publishing initiatives. Established in 1998 by four industrious undergrads, Soon Hyouk Lee '01, Arvindh Kanagasundram '01, Amar Dhand '01 and Timothy Lesle '01, the DUJS chronicles the unique opportunities that Dartmouth students have to participate in research studies. It presents the results of students' accomplishments to the wide academic community in a publication wholly reserved for students of all scientific persuasions. DUJS is also a valuable introduction into the world of academic publishing for budding scientists. |
