Argentinian guitarist performs at Dartmouth

Argentinian guitarist Claudio Calmens visits Dartmouth on Wednesday to perform contemporary works for electric and classical guitar. Composers include Chair of the Dartmouth Music Department Larry Polansky, who will join Calmens for an electric guitar duet, Egberto Gismonti, Leo Brouwer, Howard Skempton, Warren Burt, Nick Didkovsky, Philip Corner and others.

The concert is part of the Vaughan Recital Series and is free and open to the public. It begins at 12:30 p.m. at Faulkner Recital Hall. For information call 646-2422.
