Second annual Northern New England Multigenerational Women's Conference

Join the Women's Resource Center at the second annual Northern New England Multigenerational Women's Conference. The conference will be held at Dartmouth College in Moore Hall, on Sunday, Oct. 29 (9 a.m.-5 p.m.; registration begins at 8 a.m.). The conference is co-sponsored by LEAD International (Leadership Education Action Diversity) and other New England and national organizations.

The keynote speaker, from Washington, DC, is Leslie Mari Watson, the former director of the Multicultural Programs Department of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice. Throughout her career, Watson has been committed to improving civil and human rights for women, youth and the disenfranchised.

The conference will feature workshops (such as alternative health care, body image, balancing career and motherhood, women writers, young feminism, etc.). There will also be a multigenerational panel addressing civil rights and diversity, as well as entertainment and raffle drawings.
