Dartmouth students, faculty and staff are marshalling forces to offer aid to the survivors, and to honor those who lost their lives, in last month's devastating Indian Ocean tsunamis. Many wish to make contributions to relief organizations helping survivors in the nations affected by this devastating natural disaster. This Web page is intended to facilitate the donation process by providing links to recognized relief organizations, informational sources and guidelines on what is needed as the situation unfolds.

"The Dartmouth tradition, which is one of service and commitment to the world community, compels us to act in this critical hour of need," said Dartmouth President James Wright in a letter to the Dartmouth community on January 5. (Full text of letter.)

Dartmouth's William Jewett Tucker Foundation is coordinating campus activities associated with helping survivors. Watch this page for updated information on joining the relief effort.
