Solidarity Against Hatred Rally

On Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, hundreds of Dartmouth students, faculty, and staff rallied in a demonstration against hate. The student-organized "Solidarity Against Hatred Rally" brought members of the Dartmouth community together to seek unity through diversity, and to follow President James Wright's call to "use our words and actions to make the Dartmouth campus a truly welcoming and inclusive one." The rally was sponsored by the Afro-American Society, Amnesty International, College Democrats, Dartmouth Progressives, Dartmouth Free Press, Gay Straight Alliance, Inter-Community Council, La Alianza Latina, MEChA, Native Americans at Dartmouth, The Tabard, The Tucker Foundation, Untamed, and Women of Color Collective.
