The mission of Team Five will be twofold. The team will be providing physical and occupational therapies to victims of the devastating January 12 earthquake that, according to the most recent reports from the government of Haiti and the United Nations, has left some 212,000 dead and more than 300,000 injured. Team Five will also be conducting a long-term needs assessment to share with Partners in Health (PIH) in an effort to gain a better understanding of the scope of the long-term medical needs the country will face as it recovers from the earthquake. Dartmouth Team 5 is a team of five individuals:

  • Darin Atkinson, MS, PT, DHMC's Clinical Manager of Inpatient Rehabilitation (co-leader)
  • Debra Fournier, MSN, APRN, Nurse Practitioner in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (co-leader)
  • Scott Pauw, PT
  • Michelle Stinson, PT
  • Margaret Walsh, OT
