The Dartmouth community has risen to the challenge of support for the relief efforts in Haiti. Fundraising efforts to Dartmouth's Haiti Response, a partnership involving Dartmouth College, Dartmouth-Hithcock Medical Center and Partners in Health, have come from Dartmouth's students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents, and friends.
In addition to those who have given so generously with gifts of cash, a number of individuals and organizations have contributed medical supplies, transportation, and other goods and services and gifts-in-kind critical to Dartmouth's Haiti response. Those individuals and organizations include:
Air transportation
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Dartmouth has sent seven flights to date which have carried over 18,000 lbs. of supplies and 29 medical professionals. Without this invaluable air transportation, our rapid response would have been impossible.
