Bio:
Bill Lotko is a space physicist who specializes in predicting and modeling the behavior of space plasma, the low-density ionized gas emitted by the Sun, in its interactions with the ionosphere and the near-earth space environment. These interactions are one link in the space weather chain, and Lotkos research is part of the NSF-funded Center for Space Weather Modeling.
