Green helped establish the National Institutes of Health Office of Genome Ethics. He has written extensively on bioethics, genetics and ethics and all the emergent issues of reproductive ethics (e.g. cloning and stem cell research). He serves (pro bono) as the Chair of the Ethics Advisory Board of Advanced Cell Technology, a company at the forefront of therapeutic cloning research. In addition he has written a leading textbook The Ethical Manager on business and organizational ethics and has published peer-reviewed articles on many other specific issues in theoretical and applied ethics.
