Campbell's works include Collapse of an Industry: Nuclear Power and the Contradictions of U.S. Policy (Cornell, 1988), Governance of the American Economy (Cambridge, 1991), Legacies of Change: Transformations of East European Political Economies (Aldine, 1997), and The Rise of Neoliberalism and Institutional Analysis (Princeton, 2001). His latest book, Institutional Change and Globalization (Princeton, 2004) is about the problems with institutional analysis in sociology and political science. He is currently working on a project about the Danish political economy's success in the 1990s and how it relates to the literatures on small states, corporatism, and the varieties of capitalism.
