Bio:

Brison is author of Aftermath: Violence and the Remaking of a Self, which has been translated into French and German. She is co-editor of Contemporary Perspectives on Constitutional Interpretation and author of numerous articles in philosophy journals and anthologies. Her essays on sexual violence have been published in the Sunday New York Times Magazine, the Chronicle Review, the Guardian, and other newspapers and magazines. Her next book, Speech, Harm, and Conflicts of Rights, is forthcoming from Princeton University Press. Her media experience includes interviews with the BBC and BBC World, the Australian Broadcasting Co., and several National Public Radio affiliates.
