Robotics Camp

robotcamp

As part of our ongoing mission to promote computational science, the Neukom Institute helps fund the Department of Computer Science’s Summer Robotics Camp, now in it’s sixth year. The goal is to actively nurture the development of future scientists.

Open to middle school students around the area, participants are chosen by lottery to attend the free, week-long sessions.

Last year, for the first time, the Institute helped support the second week of the camp aimed at 7th through 9th grade students; “Camp II: Beyond Robots. What do the Digital Arts, Cybersecurity, Robotics and more have in common? Explore different areas of computer science.”
