The Neukom Graduate Fellows Program aims to support graduate research across the campus and provide a stepping stone to help faculty and students secure outside funding for their research.
Fellowships will provide a full year of funding, including stipend and benefits, to Ph.D. students engaged in faculty-advised research in the development of novel computational techniques as well as the application of computational methods to problems in the Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
Awards are for one year, and although it may be extended to two or more years, recipients would need to reapply and compete for the fellowship from year to year. However, part of the mandate of the Neukom Institute is to broaden the reach of computational science, so new proposals will be given special consideration.

All fellowships must produce a working paper that is supplied to the Institute Director and will be posted to the Institute’s web site; all working papers and/or publications must acknowledge the William H. Neukom 1964 Institute for Computational Science.
