Beth Hindmarsh, Administrative Assistant, a New England native, came to the Institute in the summer of 2009. She volunteered in El Salvador in 2007 and continues to be involved with a project there to supply inexpensive clay water filters to families on an island with no water purification system. Locally, she volunteers for COVER, an organization that helps winterize, weatherproof and make safe homes for low-income people in the Upper Valley. She kayaks when she can in the summer and ice skates on Lake Morey in the winter on the longest ice trail in the US.
