Native American Studies: Past Visitors

Rayna Green

The Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth has established a visiting curator program. In May of 1999, they brought Rayna Green (Cherokee) to campus. Rayna serves as the Director of the American Indian Program at the National Museum of American History, Smithsonian Institution. She gave a talk about the historical and contemporary relationship between American Indian people and museums. Rayna will be returning to Dartmouth through 'popular demand.'
