At the recent NIEA Conference in Rapid City, two '86s were accosted by a '96 and '97 as the latter boogied their way out of a karaoke bar (where {I have from reliable sources} the '96 was looking for 'friend in low places'). The '86s, tired from a hard day of conferencing, took pity on the students (hey, don't they ever study?) and posed with them for a picture to impress everyone back at Dartmouth.(thanx to Ramona Connors for the pix) |
And this is a rare picture that I managed to take while in the woods of Northern California recently. It is the almost mythical Harley Riding Karuk Beast. |
Here is an old group picture of NAD circa 1985 or so. Extra points if you can name everyone in the picture. |

| (August 3, 1996), Angela Erdrich, '87 and Sandeep Patel were joined in marriage in Minneapolis, MN. This event was actually the first part of the sacred ceremony as the couple were also wed in a Hindu ceremony in Texas later that week. As many may know, the Erdrich family produced three Dartmouth Alums. I was honored to be at the ceremony and I offer the following photographic memories for others to share. They show the beauty of the ceremony and I will not diminish that beauty by offering unnecessary description. |

In the old days, NADs used to study all the time. Here is a group diligently cracking the books on the old NAD House porch. |
A blessed moment in the life of an '86. |
