Symphony No. 45
In 1772, Haydn wrote his Symphony no. 45 in F# Major, also known as the "Farewell Symphony." This was known as one of the "Sturm und Drang Symphonies." ("Storm and Stress" - these moods characterized Haydn's music throughout the 1770s.)
