Symphony no. 104
In 1790, Nicolaus Esterházy dies. Haydn goes to London, after being offered a job writing commissioned works by Johann Peter Saloman. In 1794-95, Haydn is again in London, and in 1795 he completes his Symphony no. 104 in D Major, also known as the "London Symphony." This is the last symphony that Haydn ever wrote.
