Prospective Students

Prospective students are welcome to visit the Department of Music. It's best to call (603.646.3531) or email in advance to ensure that a department administrator or faculty member will be able to meet with you. Undergraduate students pursue a bachelor's degree with a major or minor in music. The concentration can be on any of the following: composition, theory, history, ethnomusicology, or performance. There is a Masters Program in Digital Musics. For information please email Digital Music's administrative assistant Rebecca Fawcett.

Participation in the Hopkins Center performing ensembles or taking lessons in the Music Department's Individual Instruction Program or Music 50 Performance Laboratories is not limited to Music majors or minors.
