How It Works

It’s really quite easy. All you have to do is locate the closest drop point, which is probably in your dorm. Then bring your small items and put them in the various bins for specific items. Blitz “sustain” if you have a large item, we’ll arrange inspection and pickup.

Drop off your items or blitz “sustain” for large items between May 30th and June 12th.

Small Items: Bins and drop-off points will be located in the majority of dorms and houses. Drop off your small items in these bins, and everything is set! Check the list below to see where you can drop off items.
Large Items: Blitz “sustain�? with your room # and when you’ll be home and a volunteer will come to help you carry your large items down OR give you a sticker to label the item as a donation to be removed after you move out.

What we’re accepting:

• refrigerators
• electronics
• computers
• furniture (no futon mattresses)
• bikes
• unused toiletries
• room decoration
• books
• school supplies
• lamps
• extension cords
• cookware
• household items
• posters/art
• rugs
• CDs and DVDs
• clothing (not for the fall sale, it will go directly to charity)

What’s unacceptable to donate:

• food and beverages
• broken and dirty stuff
• futon mattresses
• toiletries
• small children
