Saturday was Middlebury's intercollegiate climbing competition. It was also the weekend of their winter carnival. I don't know how our ski-team fared in the inclement weather. But the conditions inside their field house were ideal for Dartmouth to flex a little climbing muscle.
We brought up a contigent of 17 people including recent alums, Med Students, Thayer Students and a huge posse of undergrads to overwhelm the competition.
It was basically a long, exhausting, crowded, climby orgy that Middlebury hosted with top-ropes, a lead route, and lots of boulder problems.
After the comp was over and they began announcing the finalists it sounded like Dartmouth roll-call.

Sorry I don't remember all the places of all the other competitors from the other schools.
It was a day of domination I would say considering that 3/4 of the top 3 spots were filled with people from Dartmouth. There were also several other climbers cranking down hard that somehow didn't make it into the top spots:
Christine Balaz
Barry Hashimoto
David Quaid
Lisa Borowsky
Thanks to everyone who came out, congratulations to everyone who climbed so well. Hopefully Dartmouth can do it again next year.
