Dan H. Laurence

Professor Laurence is Literary and dramatic Advisor to the Estate of George Bernard Shaw. An internationally recognized Shavian scholar, he began his career as an actor in professional theater. He is a former Professor of English at New York University and has held appointments as visiting professor at several major colleges and universities. His literary contributions include bibliographies of Henry James and Shaw, and editions of Shaw's Collected Letters and Collected Plays with their Prefaces, and of Shaw's uncollected writings: Platform and Pulpit, The Matter with Ireland, and Shaw's Music.
