Kay WalkingStick and Hood Museum of Art Director Michael Taylor will discuss her life and work. WalkingStick takes a broad view of what constitutes Native American art, wishing to express a shared Native and non-Native identity in her paintings, including the Hood’s recent acquisition, Remember the Bitterroots (2007), on view in the museum’s front lobby.
