The experimental hockey webcasts that used to be available through this page previously have been discontinued. The College has decided to make all of their sports available through a commercial service. You can learn more about this service here. You will be able to watch all home games and many of the away games live. The resolution should be much better than what we were able to produce from the experimental site. All games (home and away) will be available for viewing after about 72 hours. The following is a note from Dartmouth Athletics about this decision. |

Dartmouth Men's Hockey Fans: In recent years, some of you have taken advantage of the College's experimental live video webcasting of Dartmouth men's hockey home games. The athletic department and the men's hockey program are grateful to Dave Bucciero and his colleagues for choosing our men's hockey games to experiment with this exciting new technology and for making it available to a limited number of fans at no charge. As interest in our men's hockey program has continued to grow, however, we have been seeking a way to make video webcasts available to a larger number of fans, in more convenient formats, and with higher picture quality than the College's internal system can provide, and to expand the coverage to include as many away games as possible. After careful consideration of all the pros and cons, this season we are shifting the video webcasts of Dartmouth men's hockey games from the free experimental site to a paid subscription service. Although we regret that our home game video webcasts will no longer be available for free, we are making the change because: (1) the new service makes the webcasts available to a virtually unlimited number of fans; (2) home games will not only be available live but also archived for "on demand" viewing at fans' convenience; (3) increased picture size and quality; and (4) the new service enables us to offer live video webcasts of selected away games, and all away games "on demand" within 72 hours. Our new video webcasting service is available through the "Big Green Insider" feature at <www.DartmouthSports.com>. We sincerely hope our fans will find the price to be reasonable in light of the significantly enhanced service. Please note that many additional Dartmouth athletic events are included at no additional charge, as well as regular interviews with players and coaches.
